Garry’s been in the games industry since… forever, spending a decade at a large Japanese games company before founding Sold Out Software in 1997.
In 2014, Garry partnered with James to launch Sold Out Sales & Marketing Limited, to bring high quality titles to market across all gaming formats.
James started his career at Commodore Business Machines in 1991, before moving to Take-Two Interactive. He has worked at Eidos and GT Interactive and launched major brands like; DOOM, Tomb Raider and Mortal Kombat.
James founded Sold Out with Garry to work closely with developers looking to publish their titles.
Josh’s gaming career began on Activision’s Call of Duty brand, managing social media accounts for the agency Tempero before joining Sold Out. With a degree in Games Culture, Josh is our talent scout looking for our next games to sign and developers to work with.
Gina started her career in the videogames industry in 1992, working in production on a wide variety of games for different developers and publishers, moving into business development roles at Nokia, Kuju and Eidos. Gina is also a Visiting Professor in the games industry and business at Norwich University of the Arts. She has recently been given a UKIE Award.
Rob achieved a 2:1 in Biology and a gold standard diploma in Multimedia Journalism before disregarding all his formal qualifications to pursue a career in the games industry. As an Assistant Producer, Rob works closely with developers from signature to release.
Sarah started her career with Criterion before working at UbiSoft, THQ, EA and Square Enix, where she headed up brand marketing for the company’s Western Studios. Sarah joined Sold Out after shaping ESL’s partnerships programme and heads up the marketing team.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree from his Film Production course, Sean became a games journalist and presenter for various sites. With background experience at Gamespot, videographer for 2K Games to red carpet presenter for SBTV Games & Gadgets, Sean combined his love for film making, photography and video games to become a Product Manager at Sold Out as featured in MCV’s 30 Under 30 (2014).
Konstantinos graduated with a 2:1 honours degree in Public Relations and Communications landing an internship and then securing his first job in the industry doing PR for the likes of PlayStation and EA. Through the years he also worked in Quality Assurance and Community Management with Sega and PlayStation, combining his experiences to become a Product Manager at Sold Out.
While graduating with her 1st Class degree in English, Katie founded renowned guild Narshe Red Wings on the critically acclaimed MMO Final Fantasy XIV. Eager to engage with all things gaming, she then began producing articles for various gaming websites and hosted community events for her guild and other gaming societies. She joined Sold Out in October 2017, and is excited to be involved in the industry that ignites her passions.
Since joining The Producers in the late 90s, Andy’s worked in a number of industry roles for Interplay, Novalogic, and 3DI before focusing on UK & International Sales for Redback Sales and Mastertronic, where he established strong trading relationships with a wide variety of retail and distribution contacts worldwide.
Charlotte joined Sold Out in March 2017 having come from a retail background of Superdry, Topman and M&S. She enjoys games and her favourite ones come from the “retro” era of PlayStation 2.
A highly respected member of the video games industry, David’s sales career began at Virgin Interactive and more recently with SEGA before joining the Sold Out team to head up the sales efforts.
Daniel spent a placement year working with Nintendo UK while studying for his degree in English. After graduating we snapped him up at Sold Out for his experience and passion for gaming.
With more than 10 years of experience in Sales and Operations and a 2:1 diploma in Public Administration, Andreea is discovering the new and exciting world of games industry.
Nick originally joined the Games Industry in 1998 with GT Interactive as Commercial Manager, since leaving in 2001 he has gained a wealth of experience as Finance Director within Retail, Manufacturing, Distribution, and Not for Profit Sectors.
Jason is new to the gaming industry but has many years of experience working as an accountant within media. He has long wanted to join the gaming sector and has been enjoying video games all the way back to Commodore 64 days.
Russell Ugona is thrilled to kick start his career in such a vibrant industry after completing degrees in both Finance and Economics.
