Global Head of Corporate Development

Sold Out is an entertainment company focused on publishing and distributing console and PC games for a wide audience. We are London-based and are a part of a family of companies that include Antimatter Games, Toadman Studios and Petrol Advertising (subsidiaries of Enad Global 7 – NASDAQ First North).  You will join an organic structure where you will take ownership of your role and contribute actively with new ideas of new projects in a creative and stimulating working environment. Role

As global head of corporate development, your focus will be on being working directly with the Sold Out leadership as well as the Enad Global 7 (EG7) leadership. This role will bridge significant functions between Sold Out and EG7 in the areas of product acquisition, business development, M&A and investments.

Challenges

  • Assist Sold Out in sourcing product for digital channel as well as assist Sold Out in growth of digital publishing strategy
  • Help Sold Out and EG7 challenge, formalize, and ensure good execution of the growth strategy
  • Help structure Sold Out and EG7 for rapid international scale
  • Grow the number of foreign offices via M&A
  • Help manage and update M&A pipeline
  • Help assist in the creation of and oversee portfolio management tools
  • Manage the business development, strategic partnership & M&A deals, from sourcing until integration
  • Liaise with core business functions and support functions at Sold Out and EG7 to reach your goals
  • Help define and plan strategy and corporate structure goals for EG7, Sold Out and other portfolio companies
  • Assist in helping each portfolio company maximize benefits from group structure
  • Help set up performance monitoring for all teams in order to detect problems quickly
  • Help define and execute group structures and communication channels across all portfolio companies
  • Help identify new strategic partnership opportunities across all group company pillars
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key partners at every level and horizontally within game development and publishing organization

Must have

  • Experience in International growth, M&A or business development
  • Strong interest and product expertise in games (PC, console & mobile)
  • Track record of solving problems through a data driven approach
  • Strong execution, managerial and organizational skills
  • Strong business acumen and experience working in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to speak at conferences to promote Sold Out and EG7 brands and company vision to development community
  • Have the ability to work with various divisions (including R&D, Product Marketing, Marketing, Support, Finance and Legal) to gain support for key initiatives and deals
  • Deep knowledge of the video game ecosystem and executive contacts at the key players
  • Proven ability to structure, execute and develop complex strategic partnerships that create significant value for Toadman, its partners and stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of the video game industry and video game development
  • Extensive database of senior contacts throughout the gaming industry and the ability to network
  • Bachelors degree
  • Fluency in English, French & Russian
